As leaders of the internationalizing process of Medellin and its Metropolitan Area, A.C.I. is in charge of supporting and assisting representatives of international media that come attracted to our social transformation story or to cover a special event taking place in our city.
Said support is provided mainly to journalists in the economic, financial, political and cultural fields, and particularly because A.C.I. has the knowledge and contacts needed to help them establish their agendas in Medellin and the Aburra Valley, and if needed, even keeps them company to enable their mobility and stay in the city.
Likewise, we are connected to the main International Trade Shows held in Medellin and hence, provide foreign journalists the opportunity to get to know about our history and the actions we have taken to turn Medellin into an increasingly solidary and competitive city.
The positive aspect is that the journalists which arrive to Medellin do not remain enclosed in the trade shows, but can closely see and feel our transformation process and learn the truth about our city, since A.C.I. takes them to visit the most significant spaces related to our development management, places with the most diverse social and economic conditions, where visitors usually never see, and which furthermore, allows them to experience the well-known warmth of our people.
